Because the 1970's Major League Baseball has used what is known as a designated hitter in the American League. The designated hitter, or DH for short, is a player in the lineup whose only task is to strike in the location of another gamer. The DH is permitted to pinch hit any other player in the lineup, enabling the gamer who is not hitting to stil
